Meet Shona Silver-Facer, Tayco’s Employee Profile for Q4 2024. As CET Design and Communication Lead, Shona trains the Tayco and BRC Teams, tests Beta versions, and creates learning resources and renderings to support the CET extension. A proud holder of a CET Commercial Interiors certification, she brings expertise and dedication to every project, continuously enhancing processes and tools for success.
Outside of work, Shona enjoys Chicken Shawarma Poutine, reading Breaking Dawn, and dreaming of teleporting to explore the world.

1. What’s your current role, and what does a typical day look like?
As the CET Design and Communication Lead, I train the Tayco and BRC teams in CET, test the Beta for both companies, create learning resources and renderings for Marketing socials specific to the CET extension.
2. Where would you like to grow in your role for the future?
I would like to continue to improve and enhance my current position.
3. What’s your current favourite food?
Chicken Shawarma Poutine.
4. If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and how would you use it?
I would love the superpower of teleporting so I can travel all over the world.
5. Can you share a memorable project or accomplishment you’re particularly proud of?
My biggest accomplishment I am proud of is obtaining my CET Commercial Interiors certification.
6. What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day at work?
I enjoy being with my family and reading.
7. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
I would travel to England, I have family there and it feels like home to me.

Breaking Dawn – Twilight
9. What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
One thing I could not live without would be my family.
10. What is your favourite thing about Tayco?
I would say the people. Everyone is so kind and friendly and it’s my favourite thing about Tayco.
