Employee Profile: Parvinder Birdee

Meet Parvinder Birdee, Tayco’s Employee Profile for October. She is the Team lead for the afternoon Wood department. Parvinder is responsible for leading by example, making sure the Wood department runs smoothly and efficiently, and keeping everyone on track with their work.

Parvinder’s enthusiasm, commitment, and dedication make her an exceptional Team leader and we are very proud to have her as part of our Team.

Here are a few fun facts about Parvinder:

What motivates you to work hard? Giving all my effort. I enjoy helping others on my Team and helping them to learn and achieve their goals. As a trainer, I have learned to adapt to people’s needs and focus my style of training on what the trainee needs. I am part of a great Team and I enjoy working with them!

If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world where would it be? Puerto Rico

What is your favorite sport to watch or play? I enjoy watching soccer. My husband is a part-time soccer coach.

What’s an interesting thing people might not know about you? I have two daughters, one has completed her Master at Queen’s University in Nano and Optical Engineering and is currently working in Kingston.

My second daughter is currently going to school at McMaster University and is studying Biotech. She has one more year of school left and then she will have completed her degree.

How many languages do you speak? What languages? Three; Punjabi, Hindi and English.
