The Challenge
Tayco’s Dealer, ABCO Group, has embarked on creating an expanded office space for Diamond and Diamond. This prominent legal firm is seeking a furniture solution to accommodate an additional 73 team members, reflecting their rapid growth and success.
The Client aimed to design an office with a sleek, minimalist aesthetic that would complement their bold office colors. We were able to optimize space to accommodate the influx of new employees while maintaining affordability without sacrificing quality and style.
The Solution
This project had a large focus on achieving a minimalist and modern design. With a focus on clean design and space conservation, 73 Switch workstations were used with white melamine vinyl and Steam panel fabric, giving the illusion of a simplistic yet modern cohesive space. Modern touches like the silver end gable provided an open, airy feel to the workstation while still being structurally supportive. This approach ensured a sleek and functional environment that matched the Client’s bold office colors.
To maximize space and accommodate the 73 workstations, we grouped Switch workstations in 8-pack clusters around the office. This strategic layout created a sense of order and efficiency. Running electrics with integrated power raceways to the ceiling minimized wire clutter, maintaining a clean and uncluttered look throughout the workspace. This not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also ensured practical and seamless functionality.
Affordability was a crucial factor in this project. With the need to add 73 full workstations, the Client required a cost-effective solution that didn’t compromise style or quality. The Switch workstations provided the perfect balance, offering the most value for the price. By selecting these workstations, we achieved a visually appealing and contemporary office environment while maintaining moderate costs, allowing Diamond and Diamond to economize without compromising on design and functionality.
The Result
The implementation of the Switch workstation solution at Diamond and Diamond was integral to their improved office space. The minimalist and modern design, combined with efficient space utilization and cost-effectiveness, received positive feedback from the Client. They appreciated the clean design and space conservation, the strategic clustering of workstations and the efforts to ensure affordability.
