As a leading real estate developer, their new office space of 2,000 square feet had to reflect modern trends and needed to be furnished and ready to continue business operations in less then 4 weeks. The Tayco team offered the ideal product solution and installation capability to meet the tight time frame. Using Tayco’s latest product line Scene, workstations were designed to maximize work surfaces and storage requirements. Private offices, height adjustable workstations and open benching configurations were all incorporated while accommodating bold, fixed architectural details such as wood pillars and warehouse windows in the heritage office space. The angled styling, two tone finishes and flexibility of the Scene product line perfectly complements the heritage space and the requirements of Main and Main.

To prepare for future growth Innisfil Hydro moved to a new larger location to consolidate buildings and maximize efficiencies. At 42,000 sq/ft on 6.5 acre lot, the building is LEED certified. All lighting is LED and there are future plans in place to implement 50kW of roof top solar power in 2016. Stunning 2nd floor atrium ceiling, Douglas fir beams and spruce decking complete the space, it is simply beautiful. Presently housing a team of 80 staff members, there are two existing tenant spaces that will be re-claimed once future growth occurs and there is a need for expansion. The Tayco Cosmopolitan line with lots of storage was used to define the open space. 53" & 69" panel heights allowed natural light to flow throughout the space while still providing enough privacy to conduct business activities. tayco.

Matching the spec was imperative to meet the design team's criteria to fit within a 100+ year old heritage building renovation. The original library housed old wooden private study carrels, similar to telemarketing stations, and were traditionally designed for textbook and writing usage with no room for modern laptops, or electronic devices. Starting as a small creative agency in Asia with a staff of 54, INNOCEAN has now expanded to employ over 300 people worldwide. When their west-end Toronto studio required furnishing, INNOCEAN turned to Tayco and Boss Design. Wiley examined a number of office furniture companies and chose Tayco because the products are versatile and custom solutions were easy to implement, the staff at Tayco demonstrated a high degree of knowledge in office systems furniture and were eager to help clients meet their objectives, and finally because the price was competitive. The new open concept floor plan is comfortable to work in for employees and inviting for clients. While open concept planning worked well for most employees at Wiley, editors required a private space to work in. Tayco resolved this with Cosmopolitan’s sliding door, which created a space that enables editors to concentrate, while still giving them access to natural light.
